Questions
Does cropping reduce quality?
The pixels you keep are untouched — cropping only discards the ones outside the selection. The only quality change comes from re-encoding, which you control with the quality slider. Set it to 100 and choose PNG for a genuinely lossless crop.
Which ratio should I use for social media?
Use 1:1 or 4:5 for feed posts, 9:16 for Stories, Reels and TikTok, and 16:9 for YouTube thumbnails and most desktop layouts. The presets here cover all of them, and the selection snaps so you do not have to eyeball it.
