  3. Apply to the whole batch and download.

About this tool

Watermarking is a deterrent and an attribution mechanism rather than real protection. The practical question is how much you are willing to damage your own image to make reuse inconvenient — a discreet corner mark preserves the picture but is trivially cropped out, while a tiled diagonal mark is genuinely hard to remove and genuinely ugly.

Because position and size are set as percentages of each image, a mixed batch of portrait and landscape files ends up consistently marked rather than needing individual adjustment.

Questions

Does a watermark actually stop image theft?
It raises the effort required and makes casual reuse traceable, which is usually the real goal. It will not defeat someone determined — cloning tools remove corner marks easily. A tiled, low-opacity mark across the whole frame is far harder to remove than a small logo in one corner.
Can I watermark a whole folder at once?
Yes. Add as many images as you like, set the watermark once, and every file gets the same treatment. Position and scale are expressed as percentages, so the mark stays proportional across images of different dimensions.
